Our Treasurer's Office is located in the Meigs County Office, and can be reached by calling (740) 992-4286.
Treasurer's Office employees include Denise Rowe, Accounts Payable Assistant; Linda Jones, Payroll/EMIS Assistant; and Debbie Drake, Head Start Fiscal Assistant.
The Treasurer serves as the Chief Financial Officer and reports directly to the Board of Education. He is responsible for administering, in cooperation with the Superintendent, the financial and legal business of the school district.
The Treasurer's Office oversees all of the financial operations of the district, including payroll for 200 employees.
In addition, he is responsible for the preparation of the annual budget (most recent years approximately 11 million) and publishes an annual financial report.
The Treasurer also serves as the Secretary to the Board of Education. In this role, the Treasurer’s office holds all contracts, documents, and the official minutes of all Board meetings.
